Lesson: Understanding the World

RECYCLING WEEK 

This week, our whole nursery came together to celebrate Recycling Week and learn about the importance of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. 

Our children got hands-on with sustainability by:

🗑️ Going litter picking and learning how rubbish can impact our environment and wildlife.

♻️ Exploring recycling and discovering how different materials can be reused.

🎨 Taking part in activities that encouraged them to reuse everyday resources in creative ways.

🌱 Talking about how we can all make small changes to reduce waste and care for our planet.

Learning about sustainability from an early age helps children develop positive habits, respect for their environment and an understanding that even little actions can make a big difference. 🌍

We are so proud of our little and big Eco Heroes!
